“ORANGE” You Glad It’s Fall?

Nothing says FALL more than the glorious colors of the Autumn leaves and the spicy earth tones of pumpkin, terra cotta and of course, orange.

We may not see the changing of the leaves on the palm trees here in SW FL, but we can still enjoy fall colors.  All shades of orange, from deep pumpkin to bright tangerine, are great choices for a fall wardrobe.  But who wears those colors best?

If you have deep red hair like Julianne Moore, go for the pumpkin or terra cotta shade.

Wear terra cotta with deep red hair like Julliane

If you have rich chestnut or auburn tresses, like Julia Roberts, try red with a strong orange undertone.

Look how pale and washed out Julia is as a blonde wearing pink!

Pink can wash out blondes, like Julia.

If you are a golden blonde like Reese Witherspoon or Kate Hudson, have fun with tangerine or mandarin orange.

Golden blonde hair pairs well with tangerine, like Reese.

Are there some who shouldn’t try the orange shades?  Yes.  If your hair is silver, salt and pepper, gray or pearl white, orange is probably not your best choice.  These women should not wear orange in large amounts.

Grey hair dosn't work well with orange. Salt and pepper hair doesn't work well with orange.

If orange isn’t your best shade, wear it in small amounts as a token to the change of seasons.  A scarf with hints of orange is a great way to welcome fall.

So welcome fall!  “Orange” You Glad Summer is Over?
