You can't wear your white shirt with those pants or jeans every day so let's add in some more tops. You will want to have tank tops or other sleeveless styles with various necklines in all your best basic and accent colors. Here's some ideas on combining colors: If your pants choice is camel, khaki or chocolate brown, you are wearing colors from the warm palettes. Pair those pants with tops in peach, coral, rust or tomato red. Also, pair those pants with sage, moss or olive. Then try turquoise, jade or teal. Now let's add a pair of jeans. Jeans are an iconic garment and most women will have several pairs. Make sure you have a pair that is dark denim (Faded and light washes are always casual.) and has little to no detail. Details like grommets and top stitching make the jeans very "western wear" and therefore, less versatile. Most jeans today will have some spandex and/or lycra in them to add comfort and stretchability. Now that you have one or two white or off-white shirts in your wardrobe, it's time to add a bottom piece. You'll want to get a pair of well-fitting, tailored pants in the best fabric you can afford. They should be straight leg style and the best fit for pants is to have them fall straight from the widest part of your hips to the floor.
